Galileo III
The Galileo is an excellent ship with a high crew capacity and some good weapon systems on board.
It's fairly accessible, and we would suggest this as your first true upgrade from the Frontier. It has good Reactor Power and a decent Grav Jump distance to last you the early game.

This means you can engage and disengage from space combat at your leisure. The only caveat to this is that you can only get the ship by completing the Mantis quest.

While its other features don't really stand out, if you're looking to speed up your outpost building and are looking to set up automated production facilities such as greenhouses, then this ship is well worth the investment and will save you countless extra loading screen trips that players have come to hate.

While the ship doesn't have a single standout feature, it's very well-balanced overall. It has good fuel storage and cargo space; the shields and weapons will get you through most combat scenarios.
