With over 1,000 planets to explore and 120 star systems to discover, Starfield has much to offer regarding exploration. Being able to explore various planets and moons to set up outposts for resource gathering is one of the main purposes of traversing Starfield’s vast outer space.
Resources can be obtained through different planetary biomes, and setting up multiple outposts for other resources can be time-consuming and challenging. One fan, however, struck gold by finding two different biomes in a single area.

The visible division of both boundaries resembles the arctic biome’s snow, having quickly melted. As the other members in the thread echoed, this is perfect for resource gathering.

When discussing multiple biomes, the players were quick to point out one specific moon: Bessel III-b. This moon has multiple biomes where aspiring space miners can gather various resources via efficient outpost building.
Building the best outposts in Starfield requires the best location, similar to the one above, and a bit of creativity, like how this one Starfield fan created a lakeside villa just a few jumps away for New Atlantis.
Players can expect more output customization once the Shattered Space DLC comes out this year. In the meantime, the Xbox Games Showcase is nearing its show date, and a brand new Doom game might just be announced.
In other Bethesda news, The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road is now available for pre-purchase, and players who do so will receive fantastic bonuses.
