The countdown to the launch of the Fallout TV series is ticking, and it's already making waves with an impressive score on the popular review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Brought forward with another new release date of April 10 (today), Fallout will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video and via select Twitch streamers.

Fans are excited to see Bethesda's retro-futuristic franchise brought to life in this new live-action adaptation. The intrigue has even boosted the player count for the Fallout video games, with fans looking to learn more about the post-apocalyptic world and Wasteland veterans who have been put back in the Fallout mood as the show's release approaches.

Fallout currently boasts a Rotten Tomatoes score of 92 from 49 reviewers, placing the franchise comfortably among other recent video game adaptations like HBO's The Last of Us, which sits at 98, and Paramount's Halo with a critic score of 80.

Gfinity's review of the Fallout series is live now, in which we gave the show an impressive 9 out of 10, saying:

"For fans of the games, or even just fans of the lore, Amazon’s eight-episode Fallout series is a fantastic satellite to the franchise that feels perfectly placed alongside pre-existing material. The main story feels like it ends a bit too soon, as with many streaming shows nowadays, and the “main quest” may take multiple seasons to be fully explored, but this may be one that Bethesda fans will actually finish."

Once the dust has settled, if you are still hungry for more, the highly anticipated Fallout London will arrive hot on the series' tail. This fan-made mod is absolutely massive and, given its scope, could be considered a whole new game.
