Fellow Starfield fans were quick to speculate that these updates are related to the new game mechanic involving land vehicles.

Todd Howard has already mentioned the presence of these vehicles in the game during his interview with MrMattyPlays.

Now that Bethesda has all but confirmed the release of this much-awaited game mechanic, players can only wait for the official update announcement, which may come sooner than expected.

After the trailer preview of Shattered Space, Todd shared with MrMattyPlays that Starfield might have a slower cadence for periodic updates due to the size of the upcoming planned content.

However, an annual story expansion is planned for Starfield, utilizing available planets and expanding the exploration opportunities for each featured planet.

While periodic updates may be farther apart from each other from now on, players can expect to receive more extensive and better quality updates resulting from this cadence change.

In other Bethesda news, Fallout London is now available to players on GOG.com and Steam.

This massive mod overhauls Fallout 4, adding new quests, locations, enemies, equipment, and items while bringing the post-apocalyptic narrative to London. Fallout London is available for download via Team FOLONā€™s website or the modā€™s GOG page.
