Since its initial release during the Gamescom livestream last week, the REV-8 has become the crowdā€™s favorite thing in Starfield. From insane moon jumps to ridiculous 180-degree stunts, the REV-8 has ignited the communityā€™s interest in Bethesdaā€™s space exploration RPG.

Within a few days since its release, the REV-8 has had several mods ready for PC and Xbox users. Now that a UFO mod exists for the vehicle, REV-8ā€™s modding future seems a tad too bright.

Originally posted on Reddit by user u/Space_Scumbag, they showcased a hilarious UFO mod for the gameā€™s vehicle that allows it to hover over almost anything in New Atlantis. Sporting metallic red paint, the UFO-shaped REV-8 is a fun and exciting take on the vehicle.

Now that steering and maneuvering with additional vertical and horizontal boosts have been introduced in Starfield; it could only mean that more and more custom-made vehicles will come to PC and Xbox in the next few months.

Creations Club has been a vital instrument in introducing mods to Xbox players. To some, being able to tweak almost any game option on a console is a game-changer. With added replayability through modded quests and vehicles such as the UFO, Starfieldā€™s modding potential is bigger than before.

While Todd Howard already confirmed long-term support for Starfield through various story expansions such as the DLC Shattered Space, the game is set to last in the years to come, similar to Skyrim and the Fallout series. With no Elder Scrolls VI update or news, Bethesda fans need to make do with what the studio will offer via Starfield.

Paid and free mods have been a hot topic within the community since Creations Club was introduced to the game. Now that the REV-8 can be another medium for paid mods, players and fans will have to wait for Bethesda to improve the system for paid mods, as Todd Howard mentioned in an interview. Nevertheless, the REV-8 has opened a new door of endless possibilities for the modding community.
