While not exactly new to Bethesda games, Outpost Building demonstrates what Starfield’s engine is capable of. For instance, the settlement building in Fallout 4 limits the Sole Survivor from building architectural wonders on only a few terrains. Starfield replicates that need on more than a thousand landscapes.
The result is a plethora of creative possibilities, as we’ve seen in various Outpost of the Week entries over the past few months. For this week, however, we will check out a creation that reportedly houses 50 staff members, all isolated from civilization by a mountaintop.
The four pictures accompanying Bradley B’s post on X show the scale of this creation, which is why Bradley B specifically called it a social 'Mega Outpost.'
Some users could not believe that the settlement housed 50 people. Bradley B quickly responded that he has 50 staff members with diverse skill sets housed within his facility.
He also added that he sourced his workers, mainly Sysdef, for security. He also hired ship technicians, who we can assume come from all corners of the Settled Systems, to service the cargo ships that come to the outpost as well as his own.
Of course, people get sick now and then, so he has hired several doctors.
With this incredible achievement, some X users also asked if he has used mods. Bradley B said he did, but only console commands to spawn the NPCs that make up his outpost’s working staff.
We wish Bradley B had given us a tour of the inside, but these pictures are all that is available for now. Well, what do you think of his mega outpost on a mountaintop? Let us know!
