Outpost building continues to be a creative outlet for players of Bethesda’s latest open-world RPG, Starfield, and the results are amazing! We took our sweet time picking the one we’ll be featuring in our Outpost of the Week content and came up with the one below.
This outpost is called the “Shackleton Outpost” on Reddit. There’s no planet or moon in Starfield going by that name, so we’ll have to assume that the name doesn’t refer to its location. The ship parked by the landing pad doesn’t look like the Starfield ship that goes by that name, either.
The outpost is built on top of a snowy mountain in the middle of a mountain range. The decks or rooms are arrayed on three levels, with the landing pad on the top.
The most remarkable of the rooms in this Outpost is its display room. Three costumes are mounted on a circular table. It also seems to be situated at the topmost level since you can see a power cell beside it.
The creator built his bedroom deck on the second level, facing the neighboring mountains. Although there is only one bed in the living space, the Guest Lounge occupies much of the real estate.
The Lounge has couches and a small glass table surrounded by three small stools. The picture of this space featured a backdrop of mountains in front of what seems to be a setting sun.
Hop on to Reddit and look at the user’s fantastic gallery of 17 photos showcasing the “Shackleton Outpost.” Let us know your thoughts on this week’s Outpost of the Week.
Bethesda is known for its long-term collaboration with artists and voice actors. It worked with Imagine Dragons again for a track called “Children of the Sky” and also brought back actor Wes Johnson as the voice of HopeTech CEO Bob Hope. Johnson previously voiced numerous NPCs in the Elder Scrolls franchise.
