Albeit having the Gold Road update released just recently and with all the 10th-anniversary activities that Bethesda has prepared, Elder Scrolls Online players are having a challenging time selling their stuff via the Tamriel Trade Centre.
One player started to ask what was happening with the game’s economy.
Originally posted on Reddit by user u/WarmKraftDinner, they mentioned that their items do not seem to sell as quickly as before.
They also mentioned that some items are plummeting in price. The community responded by explaining that listings expire after two weeks instead of 30 days and are then relisted for a cost if the seller still wants to sell items within a month. Add the influx of new items from recent in-game events, and the game will have an oversupply of hard-to-sell items.

The Gold Road update also added new mechanics, such as Scribing, which rendered some potions useless since these potion effects can now be added to skills via Scribing. The abundance of materials drastically changed the game’s supply and demand, causing prices to fall.
This happens typically in MMOs and is usually fixed by creating new demands for existing items through new content, such as new craftable armor and weapons or overhauling some resource mechanics. These economic instances in video games usually get sorted as the game rolls out brand-new updates, stabilizing the supply and demand for items listed in the trade.
In other Bethesda news, new ESO players can get the best advice from veteran players as they share game knowledge they wish they knew when they first started playing the game.
Many of these include tips on how to get better mounts and researching traits. On the other hand, Fallout 76 players get ready for the upcoming Milepost Zero update, listing the features they want to see once the update rolls out.
