Game music and audio are often among the features that enhance anyone’s gaming experience.

From the title music to the game audio and voice lines, these features have been added ever since video games could support them.

Surprisingly, an Elder Scrolls Online player who has never turned on the game’s audio for almost four years recently discovered how beautiful the Necrom music is, which left the community in total disbelief.

Originally posted on Reddit by user u/hellomynameisyes, they shared that they didn’t know what they were missing and that they have never turned on the game’s audio since they started playing it in early 2020.

They recently discovered that some quests and trials have sound clues that make solving them easier, understandably drawing various reactions from the Elder Scrolls Online community.

Many fellow players question how people play video games without music, and others stated that many factors, such as listening to other media while playing and ensuring that no one around will be bothered by the game’s music.

People quickly pointed out that headsets solve the problem by isolating the noise and making it audible only to the user.

Others say headsets are not viable in different scenarios, such as when other family members need the player’s attention immediately.

Some pointed out that subtitles are available should players prefer to turn off the music while needing some game hints. Others thought that the act of not turning on the game’s audio for years seemed to be a joke and borderline psychotic, but their fellow ESO players pointed out that it isn’t as uncommon as some people think.

Tuning to disco music while raiding may be the best option for some players, while others would prefer to immerse themselves in the game’s beautifully crafted soundtrack. Either way, The Elder Scrolls Online is best enjoyed however anyone likes.
