Some shared that Bethesdaās way of creating games and their narratives is so unique that it lets anybody roleplay as anything they want to be in these games. Another player even planned their retirement and said they would be playing Bethesda games for as long as possible.
Compared to other games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption, and many others, Starfield had received criticism from launch until recently, when Bethesda added paid mods and the Creations Club update.
Todd Howard recently shared that the studio is aware of the sentiments and mentioned that they will come up with a better system around paid mods.
Starfield will receive the Shattered Space update and planned annual story expansions later this year. According to Todd Howard, periodic updates may become less frequent, but players can rest assured that new content is continuously being developed.
