What does Theft do?

• The Theft skill allows you to pickpocket NPCs. It comes in handy during several quests.

What are the ranks for Theft?

• Rank 1: Unlock the ability to pickpocket
• Rank 2: 10% greater chance to successfully pickpocket.
• Rank 3: 30% greater chance to successfully pickpocket.
• Rank 4: 50% greater chance to successfully pickpocket, Can now pickpocket holstered weapons.

Are there challenges to complete for the Theft skill?

• Rank 1: Successfully pickpocket 5 times.
• Rank 2: Successfully pickpocket 10 times.
• Rank 3: Successfully pickpocket 20 times.

How to level Theft quickly?

We suggest going to a crowded place with lots of corners to hide such as The Well in New Atlantis or the Ebbside in Neon City.

What build does Theft work best with?

• Pacifist build: A Pacifist doesn't resort to violence. Sometimes a sleigh of hand is all you need.
• Stealth build: This build focuses on increasing your Sneak stat, which will also give you a higher base chance of success when using Theft. You can also invest in Agility perks to boost your Agility stat.
• Thief build: This build is a mix of Agility and Sneak, and it focuses on increasing both stats. This will give you the highest possible chance of success when using Theft.
