Space battles are Starfield’s best feature (aside from its immense number of planets to explore), and they frequently involve intricate shipbuilding designs to maximize ship power. However, managing the ship’s power can sometimes become easily forgotten.
Thanks to a mod available via Creations Club, players can now forget about having to reset their ship power each time. The system will always revert it to the manual allocation set in the shipbuilder settings.
The Ship Power Allocation Fix—Revert Unwanted Power Changes mod, ported by mod author DjlegendsPrime and made by Wskeever, is light and easy to install, with a file size of only 25 KB.
It does not have any load order requirements, but it makes traveling in space easier by ensuring that the ship is always in top shape using the same energy allocation set by the player.

Changes in ship power allocation usually happen whenever players add crew members during takeoff and landing, swapping ships, and many other situations. This mod solves the energy allocation issue by fixing it across all ships.
Players can still manually change allocation mid-flight should they need more power in different ship parts.
In other Bethesda news, the Starfield Starship Design contest has been plagued by various criticisms from fans, who say that having modded entries does not seem fair for a design contest. This came up after Bethesda showcased the finalists for the contest.
Many fans think it would be best to have different categories for the design contest if modded entries are allowed.
