Starfield’s shipbuilding feature is one of the most time-consuming activities in Bethesda’s space exploration RPG. The shipbuilder lets players create their custom ship using various parts from different planets and star systems within the galaxy. However, some players may find shipbuilding challenging as it locks some of the amazing ship parts behind the game’s progression. For example, there are ship parts that can only be accessed once you progress through a quest. Fortunately, Starfield’s Creations Club is here to improve the game’s shipbuilding mechanic.
The Easier Ship Building mod by mod author agd25 allows players to access a wide range of ship parts from all over the Settled Systems by making these available on New Atlantis, Akila, and Neon ship technicians. Players can quickly build their customized ship without having to spend more time looking for parts.
While this mod is handy when it comes to creating the most fantastic ships in the Settled Systems, it does not have the achievement-friendly mod tag. This means that all achievements will be disabled when using this mod. While it is understandable to have achievements disabled for mods like the Easier Ship Building mod, achievements should still be accessible when installing visual mods. Bethesda has yet to release an official announcement regarding this, along with an update on how paid mods should work.
In other Starfield news, Bethesda has yet to release another update after more than a month since the release of Starfield’s Creations Club update. Todd Howard confirmed in an interview that Starfield’s future update cadence may differ now that the studio aims to deliver annual story expansions. These expansions will utilize the game’s existing planets to create a whole set of questlines, making room for more exploration within those individual planets.
