It’s been weeks since Bethesda released an update for Starfield, the most recent being the June update that introduced the Creations Club.

Now that Bethesda has confirmed that land vehicles are coming to the game, Starfield players seem to have gone quiet. Some fans wonder whether the majority took a hiatus while waiting for the 'buggy update' to drop.

Originally posted on Reddit by user u/IronDusk34, they shared that they felt like creating a new save file after recently messing up their character on one of their playthroughs. They are still contemplating whether to play the game again since the rumored land vehicle update is coming soon based on Starfield’s SteamDB updates.

Some players shared that they stopped playing, but the majority of the community members admitted that they had never stopped playing Starfield.

Several fans think that the land vehicle update is nothing compared to what Shattered Space will offer. It isn’t an issue of waiting for the land vehicle but instead for Starfield’s first DLC. While the mods in the Creations Club have increased the game’s replayability and provided a new gaming experience through various overhauls and add-ons, many players think that waiting for the land vehicle is not a reason to drop Starfield altogether.

Others shared that while waiting for new updates, they have created new characters for New Game Plus, while some are busy homesteading in their outposts and building the starship of their dreams.

It is admittedly easy to lose track of time when playing Starfield and all these amazing game features, but a new update for the game will also stir up the player base once again.

Bethesda is yet to announce more details of the upcoming DLC, so stay updated with the latest Starfield news and stories by following Starfield Portal.
