Since its release, Starfield has only been available to PC and Xbox users, leaving many other players from PlayStation and other consoles to miss out on Bethesdaā€™s space exploration RPG.

There have been rumors about Starfield coming to PS5, but Bethesda has not released a statement about dropping its current exclusivity.

One particular fan, however, made the big switch from PlayStation to Xbox to have a hand at playing other Bethesda games such as Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. Given its mixed reviews and bugs, they then asked how the community would rate Starfield.

Originally posted on Reddit by user u/on-reddit, they asked how the community would rate Starfield, given its current state and future content. Most players generally rated Starfield from 6 being the lowest to 8 being the highest, with others even scoring the game with a low 4.

One player mentioned that Starfield feels like ā€œNo Manā€™s Skyrimā€ and rated the game 9.5 out of 10. This result does not stray too far from the gameā€™s Metacritic user score 6.8.

The most common reason for having the said ratings is how empty the space feels, from limited areas to explore on planets to how space travel works in the game. Other factors include repetitive fetch quests, forgettable characters, and bland narratives.

While Starfield may not be the best Bethesda game out there, the addition of Creations Club improved the game in many ways. Creations Club has been instrumental in making Starfield what it is today, overhauling fundamental game mechanics such as shipbuilding and adding quality-of-life improvements.

According to Todd Howard, Starfield will continue to receive annual story expansions that will utilize these near-empty planets as the main areas to explore.

Shattered Space will be released within the next few months, so players can expect what to see on these annual expansions based on the DLC.
