Starborn in Bethesda’s space exploration RPG, Starfield, is synonymous with powers and skills beyond this reality. After all, these beings have transcended their own realities to jump into others.
Remarkably, they do this while retaining their memories and skills in a manner that only gets more powerful with each crossing over.
They get even more powerful with these two new mods we’ve seen at Nexus. Let’s find out what they are and what they do, shall we?
The photo you see above is a Starborn Skill Tree. We don’t have that in Starfield since Bethesda probably thought that the Starborn are already too powerful to be further cultivated.
Another theory would be that the company will keep us from accessing an official skill tree until a new DLC is released.
In any case, this mod attaches a new Skill Tree to your base Starfield game. It does not create Skills or Powers; these are the exclusive domain of our second mod, Starborn Skills and Powers.
As its name suggests, this mod allows you to develop four skills and four powers to your character once they have ascended into Starborn. This mod will not work independently - it needs the first mod’s Skill Tree to work. It will be where it organizes your Starborn’s Skills and Powers.
Take note - this mod will conflict with any other mods you have installed that modify the powerslibrary.swf file in your Starfield installation folder.
Have you imagined a galaxy where the Starborn have fully overrun all the other opponent factions like the Ecliptic, the Spacers, and the Crimson Fleet? This mod will bring that into in-game reality by replacing all these factions with Starborn fighters.
