Many fans of Fallout have been waiting for the release of Fallout London, a mod created by Team FOLON. This mod reimagines Fallout 4 in the city of London, complete with a whole new map, quests, and enemies.

Earlier this year, the team abandoned the project due to Fallout 4’s next-gen update. Last week, however, the team provided an update regarding the mod, saying that it is currently undergoing QA testing with GOG.com and will be compatible with previous versions of Fallout 4.

As confirmed with VG247, the team behind Fallout London confirmed that GOG has been helpful during this testing period. They also mentioned that the mod is available only to previous versions of Fallout because the next-gen version of Fallout 4 is not stable enough for it.

The mod will have an installer and a downgrader, making it easy to install for every player who has waited for this mod.

While this may be the case, the team had to cancel the mod before since adjusting for Fallout 4’s next-gen update would leave them with double the workload, which is understandably frustrating.

The solution is to have a downgrader along with the installer so that anyone who has updated their Fallout 4 versions will still have the chance to play the post-apocalyptic game set outside of the US.

In other Fallout news, Fallout 76 players have listed the best features they want to see in the game. This list includes player-to-player secure trading and a search function during build mode. These are simple additions that Bethesda can surely add should they prioritize these, and Todd Howard has confirmed that Fallout 76 will continue to receive support as long as possible.
