During the Xbox Games Showcase, Bethesda revealed more of the massive and first-ever map expansion for Fallout 76, Skyline Valley.
Players can now venture deep into what was known as the Shenandoah National Park and explore more of the neighboring vault, Vault 63.
Since its launch in 2018, Fallout 76 had numerous updates and has recently celebrated its 20-million-player milestone, and will possibly beat new player records with the upcoming release of Skyline Valley update this June 12.
Vault 63 is the home of the electric Ghouls, led by the mysterious Hugo Stolz. Players will learn more about the looming storm over the Skyline Valley through a new public event called Dangerous Pastimes, featuring new region bosses composed of Robo-Brains.

In the coming update, players can also give in to the radiation and play as ghouls in exchange for their skin.
In a recent interview, Fallout 76 creative director Jon Rush mentioned that players can finally choose to leave their smooth and fair skin behind to obtain immunity to radiation and other Ghoul-related perk cards at level 50.
Be wary, though, as changing into a Ghoul may also affect how other NPCs and player groups interact with ghoulified players.
The Skyline Valley Update will also bring new items, such as the Lost Treasures bundle with the new Vault 63 Power Armor paint and jetpack.
A new Valut 63 Chassis Display will also be available for players to display their power armor on, and the new Weather Control Station can change the weather in their area.
This is also the beginning of the Fallout 76 Season 17 Roadmap. The event calendar from Bethesda shows the monthly C.A.M.P themes from July to September, along with other new challenges and events.
Players can kickstart their new journey into West Virginia’s wasteland with Marshal Mellow and the Pioneer Scouts by accessing the Season Pass via Fallout 1st membership or the Atomic Shop.
