With Starfield released into early access for Premium and Constellation users on September 1, players knew it would only be a matter of time before mods started to come out to alter the experience.
Indeed, just two days into early access, some hilarious mods have already begun to surface for Starfield’s fans.
One of these mods, created by user dunce13 and uploaded to Nexus Mods, brought the character of George Costanza into the universe of Bethesda’s latest space exploration RPG.
Character creation is the first step every player needs to take to start their journey within Starfield. With hundreds of options to choose from, you can customize your character to look like almost anyone in the world. For dunce13, it would be George Costanza.
Dunce13 created the mod, called the “George Costanza Preset,” by tweaking the appearance of his avatar for two hours until he arrived at a look that was as close to the Seinfeld character as possible.
He also said in his Nexus post that he’ll refine the mod further once Bethesda releases its official modding toolkit.
The George Costanza Preset is just one of many mods that allow players to take on the appearance of their favorite characters. Earlier this week, an early access player uploaded a preset that will automatically customize a player’s protagonist into Ryan Gosling. It is aptly named the “Ryan Gosling Preset.”
Other mods also turn characters into John Cena and Bryan Cranston’s Walter White from the popular series Breaking Bad.
With Starfield now available to players worldwide, the number of mods to the game will only increase in number as the months pass. There’s only one thing we know for sure, however - these mods will only make Bethesda’s newest RPG more fun and enjoyable for everybody.
