The long wait is finally over for those eagerly anticipating the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online's new content. This is because both Update 41 and the Scions of Ithelia, which have been under testing through the game’s Public Test Servers, are now available to download for PC and Mac.
What can you expect from these two updates? Let’s start with the Scions of Ithelia, which comes for free with your ESO Plus membership. Otherwise, you’ll need to purchase it for 1,500 crowns through the Crown Store.
The Scions of Ithelia DLC integrates two new dungeons to the game - the Oathsworn Pit and the Bedlam Veil. On the other hand, the Bedlam Veil is a dungeon with an enigmatic prized artifact that you must defend at all costs from an equally mysterious cult on behalf of “The Multiplier of Motions Known.”
The Oathsworn Pit requires you to liberate prisoners for Bazrag, whose people have been held captive in the Pit’s lodges by the Wood Elves.
Update 41 is a free patch for all players that introduces new rewards for player-versus-player (PvP) combat, adds stackable siege weaponry, and lowers the minimum hardware specifications for The Elder Scrolls Online.
As mentioned earlier, only players on PC and Mac can access the new content. If you’re on console, you only need to wait until March 26 for the latest patch and the Scions of Ithelia chapter to be available!
If you want to receive the Welkyndstone Ruins Wolf Mount and Pup pet immediately, make sure to pre-order the upcoming Gold Road chapter by March 18.
