Bethesda had recently unleashed Atlantic City - Boardwalk Paradise, the latest expansion to Fallout 76, the company’s online-based prequel to the well-known Fallout series of games, with a trailer unveiled during CCXP 2023 a few weeks ago.

Even as the expansion is just beginning to be enjoyed by the community, Bethesda has already revealed the next expansion coming to Fallout 76 in 2024. The title? Atlantic City - America’s Playground!

In a press release issued through the Fallout series’ website, Bethesda’s Jon Rush said that the new expansion, which is due to come out in Spring, will bring the legendary Jersey Devil as a major boss in an exclusive, additional mission.

America’s Playground, however, is just limited to Atlantic City. Rush said Fallout 76’s expansion will inevitably move southwards to the Shenandoah National Park with new quests, factions, and exclusive rewards. It’s almost heaven, as the song says, in West Virginia.

The press release included a digital painting titled “The Storm,” an appropriately named piece whose center focuses on a lightning storm hitting a lodge in the middle of the Shenandoah National Park.

However, Rush didn’t give any specifics on the upcoming expansion, leading to a few theories popping up on YouTube.

The Fallout 76 art director finishes the press release by promising new Seasonal Events for 2024. He promised they’d occur more frequently next year and asked fans to stay tuned for more announcements.

Fallout 76’s weekly updates to the Atomic Shop are now out. Be sure to check out the announcements page to see what exclusive and time-limited rewards are available for you to grab this week.
