After being moved from the original date of September 2, the Community Creations Con’s Bethesda Modding Community Showcase is finally set to take place on February 2nd and 3rd of this year. This much-awaited event will bring plenty of content to players and modders of Bethesda games, including Starfield.
Game Radar had previously reported that the event was moved from September 2 to avoid taking any leverage away from Starfield’s early access, from August 31 until September 5.
The event was confirmed via C3’s Official X account. For two days, attendees will be able to witness the following:
- A 2-day global raid train on Twitch
- 27 hours of reveals, gameplay, and knowledge
The C3 Bethesda Modding Community is a yearly showcase that takes place online for players and modders. The showcase brings popular modders into one place who will reveal ongoing and upcoming projects, which means we’ll see what mods are in store for Starfield and its predecessor franchises, Fallout and the Elder Scrolls.
The event’s proceeds will be channeled to its chosen charity, Make A Wish International.
The modding community for Starfield has been bustling since launch, which is remarkable since Bethesda has yet to release official modding support for the game. Todd Howard had explicitly promised that for 2024, although he did not reveal any specific date for the release.
The closest development is the Bethesda Game Studios Creations platform launch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in early December. The gaming community has not positively received this move since it broke all mods created for the game since 2012.
