The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has released its final list of nominees for its video game awards, and Starfield has made it on the list! This time, it is nominated for the Technical Achievement category of the competition.

The Technical Achievement award is given to the games development team that introduced an innovation to the industry. This is similar to the Innovative Gameplay award that Starfield won at the 2023 Steam Awards at the start of this year.

Other nominees for the award include the development teams for Alan Wake 2, Final Fantasy XVI, Horizon: Call of the Mountain, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Marvel’s Spiderman 2.

From this point on, the juries assigned to the Technical Achievement category will vote, and amongst the nominees, they will bag the award. The winners will be formally given the award on April 11.

Coincidentally, April 11 is also the release date of the Prime Video live-action series ‘Fallout’ based on the Bethesda Game Studios series of the same name. The series, which will drop all episodes on the release date, was initially scheduled to release on April 12.

Prime Video released a second teaser trailer yesterday that showed more characters’ inner motivations and revealed a few interesting references to the games. These include an epic battle between what appears to be the New California Republic and the West Coast arm of the Brotherhood of Steel.
