Visiting vendors in Starfield and finding out they don’t have the stock you’re looking for can be annoying, especially when they had it in stock previously. Well, thanks to a clever little mod on Nexus Mods, you can say goodbye to that when playing Bethesda’s newest open-world RPG, Starfield.
The mod is the Real Instant Vendor Refresh, which was uploaded by modder Mudsy yesterday, October 3. As its name suggests, the mod will replenish each vendor’s stocks when you leave the vendor menu. So, all you need to do is open the vendor menu again, and they’re fully restocked.
Take note - you don’t have to leave the dialogue to trigger the necessary console code that refreshes the vendor’s stocks.
Another mod you should check out is the Starfield Galactic Radio mod. This mod livens up your game by playing your favorite tunes from places like Apple Music or Spotify, or even music files saved locally on your computer.
This mod acts as an in-game radio instead of an official one from Bethesda, like the one that players enjoyed with Fallout and operates independently of the game’s native volume.
Mods have been busy the past four weeks since Starfield’s release, introducing plenty of game mechanics and aesthetic modifications to the game. This is all happening despite Bethesda not releasing an official mod creation kit for its most successful game.
According to Todd Howard, Bethesda wants to release official mod support “in a big way,” thus, they’re setting the release for the official kit for 2024.
