We’re used to the ruthlessness of the Crimson Fleet pirates by now and the docility of the sanitation mini-bots in the outposts. It would be a stretch of the imagination to think of these two groups crossing paths and clashing with each other in Bethesda’s Starfield.
They did that, however, when Reddit user CoccidianOocyst decided to employ a few console commands on PC. Check out the footage of the mini-bots taking on the Crimson Fleet pirates at a convention in Neon City.
According to the Redditor, you must be a Crimson Fleet member to make these console commands work. If you are already a pirate, go to Neon City and follow the commands outlined in CoccidianOocyst’s Reddit post to add at least 20 sanitation mini-bots against 20 Crimson Fleet pirates.
We assume that you could play around some with the numbers.
After spawning the pirates and mini-bots, it’s time to sit back and enjoy the show! The Redditor warns, however, that this exploit will crash the game in 10 minutes.
Despite their apparent docility, the Redditor said that he was surprised that they could hold their own against even the Crimson Fleet pirates in combat. They can also climb stairs and resist attacks by other NPCs.
Although the show could only last that long, you could spice the action up further by employing one of two mods - one that turns the sanitation mini-bots into the Astromech Droids in Star Wars and the other one that recreates them into the Daleks from the Dr. Who series.
