If you ask Starfield players what new content they want, they’ll only say two things - the Shattered Space DLC or the Creation Kit. Unfortunately, Bethesda has not been forthcoming about when these two will be officially available for Starfield’s eager fanbase.
Last week, somebody spotted an update on Starfield’s profile in Steam DB. It appears that somebody has been patching the game up unofficially. Further sleuthing revealed that these “updates” have been carried out by a user tagged as “ct_beta_verifiedcreator.”
Redditor TERABIT, who posted a screenshot of these update logs, proposed that this could be a sign that Bethesda is facilitating a closed beta testing of the Creation Kit limited to Verified Creators in its Games Studio Creations platform.
Despite being active in the Starfield subreddit, none of Bethesda’s various community managers assigned to the game said anything in the thread.
On Thursday, Rebs Gaming uploaded a screenshot to his X account revealing that content had been added to Starfield’s DLC section. Like the previous discovery, the gaming news reporter could not help but theorize that this could be the Shattered Space DLC or the Creation Kit.
Of course, these are all theories and speculation for now. However, with the sequence of discoveries and updates to Starfield’s Steam DB section, there should be an announcement coming from Bethesda soon.
