Weapon Engineering is an Advanced Science skill in Starfield that allows you to craft extremely high-tech weapon mods to strengthen your arsenal.

Ranks

• You can craft improved weapon mods at a Weapon Workbench and research additional weapon mods at a Research Lab.
• You can research and craft superior weapon mods.
• You can research and craft cutting-edge weapon mods.
• You can research and craft master-level weapon mods.

Challenges

• Spend a total of 4 Skill Points in the Science tree.
• Craft 5 Weapon Mods
• Craft 15 Weapon Mods
• Craft 30 Weapon Mods

How to level Weapon Engineering quickly

Pick an easy-to-craft weapon mod and dismantle it. Each dismantle also counts as a weapon mod. Repeat this process some 15 times to complete the challenge.
