Bethesda is offering Elder Scrolls Online players a limited-time opportunity to receive free DLC. This special offer, a gift to celebrate the game’s first decade, requires players to steal from a non-playable character just once.
The Elder Scrolls Online's 10th anniversary kicked off with a two-day event on April 5 and 6 in the Netherlands. This heralds the beginning of a year-long celebration with plenty of activities to keep the communities engaged. For the next two weeks, ESO will spotlight the Thieves Guild.
Players must earn the “Pocket Picker” achievement to claim the free DLC between April 15 and April 29. This achievement requires players to steal from the pockets of any citizen of Tamriel just once. After completing this task, they can claim the Guild of Thieves DLC from the Crown Store.
After the “crime,” they can claim the Guild of Thieves DLC from the Crown Store. Those who have already achieved Pocket Picker and earned the other achievements later can also automatically grab the free chapter through this process.
With the Guild of Thieves DLC added, they can now access the Hew’s Bane Zone, where they can defeat two bosses in two caves and gain the Treasurer Hunter House mount for free, as well as go through the Thieves Guild storyline that was previously exclusive to those who have bought the chapter.
They could also join the Thieves Guild and level their Pickpocketing skills through the Thieves Guild Skill Line.
Players can also purchase the Dark Brotherhood DLC at a 20% discount during the promotion period. The DLC will give them access to the Gold Coast and the Dark Brotherhood storyline, join the eponymous in-game organization, and obtain their Skill Line.
