Our Outpost of the Week picks are all unique and innovative, and they get better every week. This new Starfield outpost that caught our eye did so with the insane amount of details that went into its construction.
This custom outpost was built by Reddit user JulianJanganoo, who, interestingly enough, did not mention where he made it. That doesn’t matter, however, because the interior of the Outpost truly perked our attention.
Two parts of this station attracted us - The Bar and Restaurant and the Contraband Showcase.
The Bar Lounge is fully stocked, and reminiscent of the late 20th and early 21st century bars of our time. It is fully stocked, has two billiard tables, and fauna heads displayed in between the widescreen TVs, similar to how we put the heads of the animals we’ve hunted on the walls of our restaurants.
The Restaurant is rustic and designed to evoke an old-world feel. There is even a VIP table that uses wooden furniture from the 19th century and a “random Vae Victor” poster that the builder said seems to be perpetually “stuck” to the place.
After that, we move on to the Star of the Show - the Contraband showcase.
As its name suggests, this room is where JulianJanganoo keeps all the flora that he isn’t supposed to be stocking on but does so anyway. There are boxes marked “Radioactive Material,” but the user did not elaborate on what biological hazard he is hoarding.
I hope you enjoy our Outpost of the Week pic for this week. JulianJanganoo has over 20 pictures in his Reddit gallery, so check it out when you can!
Todd Howard and the team at Bethesda have been aggressively marketing Starfield in the months leading to the September 6 release.
They have been particularly quick at hacking the NASA discovery of what seems to be a question mark in space and turning it into organic marketing material for the game!
