The Elder Scrolls Online recently had its Gold Road expansion and Update 43, which brought tons of new areas, activities, and features to enjoy. Like Fallout 76, ESO is enjoying an influx of new players mainly because of its 10th-anniversary events and giveaways.
With so many newbies around town, veteran ESO players gather and share what they’d advise to the newbie versions of themselves.
Originally posted on Reddit by user u/FluffWit, they shared their insights and advice about what they’d want their newbie self to know before playing ESO for the first time. If given the chance to return to 2015 and start over again, they shared that they would make a Nightblade as their main character mainly because of the Cloak Skill used for PvP and quests.
Many others also shared their tips, such as starting researching traits as soon as possible and knowing how to use the Antiquarian's Eye for dig sites. Some veterans also shared about not following meta endgame builds so they can fully enjoy the game.

While others mention game-related tips, such as getting the mount as soon as possible, others shared that they would want to create better names for their characters, such as having lore-accurate names for different races, such as Argonians and Elves.
Others joked about not starting ESO altogether and saving nine years of their lives. While this thread shows how much wisdom one can earn after playing ESO for nine years, it is evident that the community’s love for the game has not changed for almost a decade.
In other Bethesda news, Fallout 76 players shared a wishlist of many things they want to see in the MMO. Many wished to have a search function during build mode and the most coveted feature: player-to-player secure trading.
Todd Howard recently shared that Fallout 76 will continue to receive support in the long run, and it is only a matter of time before Fallout 76 players see their wishlist of features fulfilled.
